Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can you sell new cars cheaper than the main dealer?
A. The main dealers of today have a major cost base in terms of premises, staff etc. They are also governed by the manufacturer to sell vehicles at their recommended retail prices with a profit margin to work with. It is no secret that many large fleet operators enjoy better discounts than the dealers themselves. We buy the vehicles on the large fleet discounts and pass them on to you the customer. It’s as simple as that. Because of our low overhead we can also pass on cost saving to the customer.

Q. How do I know I will get the car on time?
A. Most used cars will be supplied within 7 working days. New cars will normally be delivered in 2-6 weeks depending on the franchise. Once you have ordered your car you will be given regular updates by Phone, fax, e-mail or text depending on which method you prefer.

Q. Are the prices on the site negotiable?
A. We used to be asked many times “If I pay cash do I get a discount?". We need to not only compete on price but to beat it considerably. To do that we need to set our prices at a very competitive rate. It would be very difficult to reduce the prices even further.

Q. Can I part exchange my current car?
A. Yes, of course you can, we have an established network of used car buyers, and we can take any vehicle in part exchange, all that we ask is that you give us an honest appraisal of your current car.

Q. Do I have to give a deposit?
A. Yes please, a minimum of £500 is required. This can be paid by credit card, chaps, bacs, cheque or cash.

Q. Will my car have a warranty?
A. Yes, all used cars have the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty. Where this has expired or is less than 12mths, a comprehensive 12 mths underwritten warranty cover is supplied. Most UK cars today have a minimum of a 3 year warranty. This is made up by the manufacturers and the dealer. There are also warranties for Paintwork and corrosion ingress.

Q. Can I have my car delivered directly to my door?
A. Yes
, our policy is to deliver your car directly to your door, home or workplace, and take away your old one that you may have offered in part exchange. Alternatively should you wish to collect from our premises in Sheffield,  South Yorkshire, we will happily refund your travel costs, up to the value of £100.

Q. Do I need to pay for my car in full before I receive it?
A. No, you will be asked for payment of the vehicle on delivery. Of course the method has to be cleared funds therefore a bank draft, building society cheque, cash or chaps payment to be made during the handover. A personal cheque today takes 5 working days to clear.

Q. Can you arrange finance?

A. Yes, this can be targeted to your exact requirements. There is also the choice of contract hire, lease purchase for business users and PCP for private users.

Q. Will you be able to provide information for my self assessment?
A. Yes, the exhaust emission and P11D are available for all cars, just ask.
